Have a Ball

Here’s an adorable set for America’s favorite past time! This set comes with a boy and girl baseball player, a baseball, and 4 sentiments. What is fun about this set is that you can change up the uniforms and customize them to your favorite baseball or little league team (I’m also thinking of adding a skirt for a ladies league!).

I combined Have a Ball with Doodlbug letters to create this very sparkly card that would be good for a birthday or any day really.

This little pitcher was done with the Kindred stencil Pixie Dust Slimline. I taped it to the paper and used embossing ink pressed on top then added gold embossing powder. The stars are gold sparkle brads.

I used the boy and the girl to build the scene here. I die cut some clouds on masking paper and used tumbled glass Distress Oxides. The grass border was done the same way and I used Mowed Lawn Distress Oxides.

This is one set of many for the Kindred Stamps release on Friday, December 4, 2020. https://www.kindredstamps.com/products/have-a-ball

Getting inky!

No I am not necessarily a fan of getting tattooed myself…I’ve actually had one removed. Bad mistake when I was 18 (and no it wasn’t a name!) and it cost way more to get it gone than the tattoo itself. But I LOVE the look of tattoos and the bold colors of a traditional tattoo. So this set is perfect cause you get large AND small tattoo style letter along with several traditional style tattoos which are so fun to color! I wanted them to look like tattoo boards when you go into the shops. So here are my creations-

Gotta have the MOM in there ❤️
I mean what love never dies??

I love the colorfulness of traditional tattoos!

You will have so much fun with these sets and I cannot wait to use them with my other Kindred Stamps sets! These will be available along with several other goodies this Friday, October 30, 2020 on Kindredstamps.com! https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.kindredstamps.com%2Fproducts%2Ftattoo-alpha%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR1dSSNcj22aj7XqGFW2VI5exPymBNXiNCoTbvhdM_bhAGxFwBmvFTqB2Nw&h=AT0c6zVIWLZ7Jadd8nvRGQEi6OfiT9eIavD6gxhauLxjFN3xs_UA-aiJN6FKKX-_VnYP8Zs7O-ucREsKfrbnWZT6Sx0qz6QhTbNxG6AuAFS0thihQ49JvYV5OHtQeMTgaNMrQuxrsW0nW3uTlsXw01w&tn=-UK-R&c[0]=AT29cAia-gsoc_kF2cJstev8blZsPENryNCBmNq5p7QLk-icyR52BrPj2MTGj16IVCt7Bg0_fi7487WtOhLUZh_4Mq5kwEY5QITNDRMbbUGueKm3DgqnkNaSFvhMFth8o6bikNHIkx386SPC6VdxankS_2yeVL_py7bIYo_jF3Lwh8-3ALdtO5XRmVgdH1qWfwIJNyQmkTHF_2uBDugHdsc3asW13wWgeGMl33Q8j-I

Horror Hotel

Be prepared for a spooktacular set just in time for fall!! Horror Hotel is so much fun and gave me so many ideas for cards and more projects to come.

Door was cut on the Cricut but you can easily make it with a paper trimmer and fussy cut the part that is chopped out!
I die cut a bushy border and used Distress Oxides to add texture to the hedges. Used the Marvy Snow Pen to add snow to the bushes then added a little white paint on top since the green was coming through. The hotel is a die cut on the Cricut and designed the hotel in Silhouette Studio.
Typewriter was designed on Silhouette Studio
Pop up box card adds a little dimension to the twins down the hallway! I used red paint to add the blood splatter. I love doing these types of cards because you can add so many more elements to the front of the card. I’m going to do a step by step coming up on how to make pop up box cards!
Just to get a little more lighthearted with the creepy twins down the hall. I used Doodle Letters to add the sentiment and if you don’t have that set yet it’s a must!

Horror Hotel will be out this Friday, August 28, 2020 on Kindred Stamps website along with many more fun stamp sets!! Click on the link and don’t forget to sign up to get points cause then add up quick!

Cabaret

My gift is a card and this ones for you!

Cabaret is here!!! Such an adorable set this month and so much bling!!!

I designed this card and knew it needed a windmill so I created one on silhouette studio and made it into an SVG. If anyone would like it just leave me a comment below with your email and I will happily send it to you!

The curtain was actually super easy to make. I cut a couple strips of paper and used a wavy border to die cut the bottom. I did the same thing with the top of the curtain. Then I used my scoreboard to score lines into the side of the curtains.

I wish you could see how sparkly this card is in person. I used the Darice rhinestone setter to add bling all around the card and it really does sparkle like diamonds!

This site will be available along with several others on Friday, July 23, 2020 on kindredstamps.com!

Chomp

Duh-nuh…duh-nuh

There is a new Kindred Stamps set swimming into town this week and it’s “jaws ome”! Kindreds new set Chomp is a perfect summer release and omg so fun to color. The set comes with three shark hunters, a vicious shark and lots of fun sentiments.

Right off as soon as I saw this set I knew I had to make a shark hunting boat for the little guys to go on. This is an SVG file that can be cut on any die cutting machine and it’s yours for free if you would like it!! I cut the boat at 8 inches (and cut off the point on the front but you can leave it on!) so it’s a LARGE card but hey…we’re gonna need a bigger card. It’s super easy to put together and I used Distress Oxides in Pumice Stone to distress the boat.

This one was super simple and I used Doodle Letters for the front then Copics to color. I used a circle die to cut the ring and added tiny brads to make the “porthole”.

This last card I used Distress Oxides and the stencil from the Boo Yah box (meant for slime!) to make a bloody background for my great white. The letters were cut on my Cricut and added with foam tape. Super simple, but so insidious…

Thanks for checking out my blog and leave your email below if you would like the file for the shark hunter boat!

Blonde and Ambitious

Oh snap! Blonde and Ambitious is a new set from Kindred Stamps and she is adorbs with her cute little doggie. (I’m a sucker for dogs) This set is so cute with sentiments that include-

Snaps to You!

You’re like really smart

You did it!

Girls can do abything

You’re legally awesome

Blonde and Ambitious

Now I admit…I don’t do well with blondes. Coloring blondes I mean! I’m a brunette and usually lean towards brown hair so this was a challenge for me. After several fails and yellow hair I finally realized using Copic markers E43, E42 and E41 worked well for me. I swear one day I will branch out but I was trying to get very specific for this blonde cutie!

I’m definitely a layer person when it comes to cards. Foam tape is my best friend. When you get a one layer card from me that’s very unusual cause I’m also a scene builder. But she is the star of the show on these cards!

Blonde and Ambitious is available Friday, May 22, 2020 at 9am CST along with many other cute sets, new papers and some fun embellishments!!

Family Time

Ok this one really pulled at my heartstrings. I love this little family and making a set with them was SO EXCITING for me!!

I wanted a very early 80s, post hippie look for this card

The look I wanted for this one was right out of your moms photo album. The one that still used the black paper and the corner triangles to hold the picture in (and would often fall out!) complete with the hand written caption on the bottom.

Ahhhh…the dreaded crockpot…I have no words

This is just one of the cutest sets and definitely one of my top Kindred sets ever! The April Kindred Stamps release goes live on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 8am PST. Here is the link to shop Family Time.
